The Las Vegas Raiders shook up their quarterback room this offseason with the trade for Geno Smith and the drafting of Cam Miller. Carter Bradley was one returning player fighting for a roster spot, but the team decided to cut him before the start of training camp.
Aidan O'Connell is set to be the only returning quarterback from last season. However, Bradley won't be out of the NFL yet.
Bradley came into the league as an undrafted free agent last year, so there wasn't a ton of hype behind him. Luckily, he has some fans around the NFL.
The San Francisco 49ers revealed that they've signed Bradley to a contract.
The #49ers sign RB Ameer Abdullah, QB Carter Bradley, WR Marquez Callaway and WR Andy Isabella to one year-deals.

San Francisco will be a great landing spot for Bradley. Head coach Kyle Shanahan is very good at developing young quarterbacks, especially ones who are more pocket-oriented like Bradley.
He still faces an uphill battle trying to make the roster, but he could be a strong candidate for the practice squad. Regardless, this will be his best chance to develop into an NFL quarterback.
Another piece of good news for Bradley is that the 49ers don't have the strongest quarterback depth right now. Brock Purdy is the clear starter and signed a big contract this offseason, but it remains to be seen who his backup will be.
Mac Jones is the likely favorite, but he has played very poorly in recent years. Tanner Mordecai is the other quarterback on the roster, but similar to Bradley, he was an undrafted free agent last year. Bradley can certainly compete for the backup job with this current depth chart.
