The end of Sunday's matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Buccaneers was a wild ride.
The Falcons put together a drive that lasted 8:46 in the fourth quarter to score a touchdown that put them ahead by three points with just over two minutes to play.
Then the Buccaneers put together a drive of their own to take back the lead on an Emeka Egbuka touchdown with only 59 seconds remaining. However, a missed extra point from Chase McLaughlin kept the Falcons within three points.
Michael Penix Jr. was able to take the Falcons 60 yards in those 59 seconds to set Younghoe Koo up to attempt a 44-yard field goal to tie the game with time expiring.
The longtime Falcons kicker missed the kick wide right, sealing a victory for the Bucs in this NFC South clash.
A couple of days after that miss, the Falcons have brought in some competition for Koo.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Falcons have signed kicker Parker Romo to their practice squad.

Romo has bounced around the league since going undrafted in 2022, but was finally able to get into an NFL game last season.
He was signed by the Vikings in the middle of the season as an injury replacement and put together a solid four-game stretch in Minnesota.
He made 11 of the 12 field goals he attempted and seven of eight extra points. Four of the field goals came in a November matchup against the Jaguars where those kicks were the only points the Vikings scored on the way to a 12-7 win over the Jags.
He was released before the end of the season and signed with the Patriots, who kept him on their roster until the end of August.
Koo has been the Falcons' kicker since 2019. During that time he has made 178 of the 205 field goals he has attempted and converted 166 PATs.
Koo tied with two other kickers for the league lead in points scored back in 2020, earning him Pro Bowl honors.
He is coming off of his worst season as a Falcon, where he made just 73.5% of the field goals he attempted.
Now it seems his latest miss could have the Falcons considering going in a different direction at kicker.
