Naturally, there is going to be a lot of turnover on the coaching staff with a new head coach coming in, but there were a couple of coaches from this year’s staff the Atlanta Falcons could have kept around. The most notable of the bunch is Jeff Ulbrich, who will continue coordinating the defense in Atlanta next season. However, offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford will not be retained.
The #Falcons will not be retaining OL coach Dwayne Ledford, per a source. Ledford, highly regarded for his work in Atlanta, is expected to have multiple suitors for his services.

Ledford was one of the few remaining holdovers from Arthur Smith’s staff. He was hired in 2021, and of all the position groups over the last five seasons, the offensive line has been by far the most consistent for the Atlanta Falcons.
Ledford said after the season that he hoped to stay on in Atlanta, but as Raimondi notes, it shouldn’t take him very long to find a new home. His work with the Falcons has made him a highly coveted commodity around the league.
It’s expected that Ledford will be replaced by Bill Callahan, who served as the offensive line coach for the Cleveland Browns under Kevin Stefanski from 2020–2023 before joining his son’s staff with the Tennessee Titans for the past two seasons.
