In 2021, George Kittle, Travis Kelce, and Greg Olsen founded Tight End University to bring the tight end community together for an immersive three-day program.
Falcons tight end Charlie Woerner has been accepted into the tight end program to participate in the 2025 season. Warner was part of a receiving trio for Atlanta that was brought in and exceeded expectations individually. Warner doesn't give you a dynamic weapon at tight end, but he provides much more than meets the eye.
Warner is primarily a security blanket as far as blocking goes. He has only received 27 targets during his career between the San Francisco 49ers and the Atlanta Falcons. The Niners selected him out of Georgia in the 6th round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
During his career, he has caught 18 passes for 166 yards. One would think that Kyle Pitts would be a name to appear at the camp, like he did in 2021 as a rookie, where he was considered a "staple" of the camp that year, but an injury will keep Pitts from attending.
Woerner may receive some valuable advice and feedback to become a contributor to the Falcons during the camp. George Kittle is a former teammate of Woerner after all. Below is a short statement about "Tight End University" from the camps website.
Founded in 2021 by NFL Tight Ends George Kittle, Travis Kelce, and Greg Olsen, Tight End University was created to bring the Tight End community together for an immersive three-day program.
Over the course of the summit, attendees are able to bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers while participating in a variety of activities including film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation, and more. In addition to current players, TEU also features several retired legends who provide attendees with the invaluable opportunity to learn from some of the best to ever play the game.
