For years, the Los Angeles Chargers were known for choking away games. The formerly-called San Diego Chargers were even nicknamed the San Diego Super Chokers by some due to a string of unfortunate losses.
The Chargers were never able to get over the hump. They haven't been to the Super Bowl since 1994, and the most recent playoff loss came against the Jacksonville Jaguars in January 2023.
The Chargers had a 27-0 lead with 4:25 left in the first half, but it was the Jaguars who ended LA's season with a massive comeback to win, 31-30.
On Sunday night against the Cincinnati Bengals, it looked like it was going to happen again. The Chargers had a 27-6 lead in the third quarter, but the Bengals scored 21 unanswered points to tie it at 27.
However, a missed field goal by Evan McPherson allowed the Chargers to march down the field. J.K. Dobbins then scored the game-clinching touchdown to give the Chargers a 34-27 victory.
For a while, it seemed like the Chargers were going to do it again. However, fans all said the same thing after Harbaugh stopped them from "Chargering."
"Jim Harbaugh stopped the Chargering in its tracks. The culture has shifted," one fan wrote.
"Jim Harbaugh has done the impossible! He has stopped the Chargering!!" another said.
"The Chargers have been losing these kinds of games my entire life. Jim Harbaugh is a game changer," said another.
"Jim Harbaugh has reversed the cursed Chargers organization," said another fan.
"Jim Harbaugh put an end to Chargering? What can't he do," NFL reporter Eric Williams wrote.

"Jim Harbaugh's aura being strong enough to overcoming the Chargers curse is special," another wrote.
"JIM HARBAUGH AND JUSTIN HERBERT HAVE DONE WHAT NO CHARGERS TEAM COULD DO BEFORE. CLUTCH UP A WIN IN A BIG GAME VS A BIG TIME QB," said another.

CLUTCH UP A WIN IN A BIG GAME VS A BIG TIME QB.
Despite a furious Bengals comeback, the Chargers were able to come through in the clutch and improve to 7-3 on the year.
It is quite a different feeling with Harbaugh as the coach, and fans are excited about this new development in LA.
