Fantasy Football Reaction to Browns Drafting KC Concepcion in Round 1

The Cleveland Browns upgraded their offense with the first-round selection of Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion with the 24th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. He'll step in immediately to add a creative spark to an offense in dire need of explosive playmakers.

Concepcion brings short-area burst, route quickness, and run-after-catch ability. He can create separation underneath, win on option routes, and handle manufactured touches on screens, sweeps, and quick-game concepts. His versatility gives an offense easy ways to get the ball in his hands, but Concepcion's size (5-foot-11, 196 pounds), concentration lapses, and play strength are the main concerns. He may need a defined role early rather than a full outside receiver workload, with his long-term value tied to how consistently he handles contact and expands his route tree.

2026 KC Concepcion Fantasy Football Outlook

With Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman the expected starters on the outside, expect Concepcion to begin primarily working out of the slot. Nearly two-thirds of his snaps in 2025 came on the outside, so he's quite capable of moving around and remaining effective. Look for a ton of designed touches to get the ball into his hands and let the joystick do its thing.

Quarterback remains a concern for the Browns, of course, and we'll have to monitor this situation throughout the summer. Whether its Deshaun Watson making a triumphant return or the continued maturation of Shedeur Sanders, this offense will funnel passes toward the rookie enough to make him a late-round fantasy curiosity in Year 1. There's too much uncertainty here to fairly speculate on dynasty value beyond saying talent won't be what could possibly hold Concepcion back.
