There are fewer options to choose from in fantasy football now that bye weeks have arrived. Even with slimmer availability, here are five players you might want to leave on the bench in Week 5.
PPR projection: 16.1
Nix came to life in Week 4 with a season-high 25.74 fantasy points, but it came against a dreadful Cincinnati Bengals defense. He faces a much taller task against the Philadelphia Eagles, which rank first in the NFL in opponent completion percentage (56.9 percent). Nix, who already has five turnovers through four games, could struggle against Philadelphia's aggressive defensive scheme.
PPR projection: 13.9
For some reason, Brown is projected to score 13.9 PPR points this week despite failing to surpass 13.1 in all four games this season. The Bengals RB has been extremely inefficient behind this offensive line, averaging a meager 2.3 yards per carry. The Detroit Lions rank seventh in the NFL in yards allowed per carry (3.8) and eighth in fantasy points allowed to running backs, so don't expect Brown to snap out of his funk this week.
PPR projection: 12.1
With James Conner out for the season and Trey Benson now on injured reserve, the starting RB job in Arizona is up for grabs. Everyone seems to believe Demercado should be plugged into lineups right away, but are we sure he's even going to lead the room in snaps? Demercado has always been a pass-catching, third-down RB, while Michael Carter is the prototypical early-down back. We'd wait and see how this backfield shakes out before starting Demercado.
Cardinals RB Michael Carter just indicated that he'll be starting over Emari Demercado:

PPR projection: 13.1
We have enough evidence this season to say the Thomas-Trevor Lawrence connection is broken. Thomas has reeled in only 12 of his 32 targets (37.5 percent) through four games, and he hasn't scored more than 10.6 fantasy points. The duo could get back on track later in the season, but it probably won't happen this week against Trent McDuffie and the Kansas City Chiefs.
PPR projection: 8.0
Kincaid is the sixth-ranked tight end in fantasy this season, but how he got there is quite fluky. The Bills TE has averaged just 4.5 targets and 44.0 receiving yards per game through four weeks, but he's already scored a career-high three touchdowns. That touchdown rate isn't going to continue due to how much Josh Allen spreads the ball around, and the New England Patriots have held three straight starting tight ends to fewer than 42 yards.
