Urban Meyer has had one of the greatest head coaching careers in college football history. Meyer spent time as the coach at four different programs. He began his career with the Bowling Green Falcons, where he spent two seasons in 2001 and 2002. After that, he moved on to the job with the Utah Utes for two years.
Meyer led Utah to two straight bowl victories, including a perfect season in 2004. The next year, Meyer took over the head coaching spot with the Florida Gators, where his nationally prominent career was established.
He spent six years with Florida from 2005 to 2010, leading the Gators to an overall record of 65-15. They won two BCS National Championships in 2006 and 2008.
After the 2010 season, Meyer left the Florida job, much to the displeasure of Gators fans. In 2012, he took the head coaching job with the Ohio State Buckeyes, where he spent seven years and had an unbelievable 83-9 record, including a College Football Playoff National Championship in the 2014 season.
On Saturday, during the Gators' game against the No. 20 Tennessee Volunteers, Meyer was welcomed back to the university, as Florida announced that he will become the seventh member of the Florida Ring of Honor.
"Coach Meyer to the Florida Ring of Honor @CoachUrbanMeyer, the 7th member of the UF Ring of Honor, and an inductee to the CFB Hall of Fame," the team's X account wrote.

Meyer will join Tim Tebow, Emmitt Smith, Steve Spurrier, Danny Wuerffel, Wilber Marshall and Jack Youngblood as the only members of the Ring of Honor inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville.
"Hey Gator nation, this is coach Urban Meyer, so great to be back in the Swamp, and go Gators," Meyer said.
Meyer, who won two of Florida's three national championships in program history, will now live among Gator greats forever.
