Former Broncos' Super Bowl Champion Could Find New Team Soon

Eight-time Pro-Bowl outside linebacker Von Miller spent the first nine years of his NFL career with the Denver Broncos, leading the franchise to a Super Bowl victory in 2015, and earning Super Bowl MVP with 2.5 sacks against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.

Since his departure from Denver, Miller spent some time with the Los Angeles Rams before spending the last three years with the Buffalo Bills. This offseason, the Bills cut Miller to save $8.4 million in cap space, and now the veteran edge rusher is looking for a new home in 2025.

NFL Network's Brian Baldinger recently joined DNVR to discuss Miller's potential landing spots for 2025. Baldinger is a former college teammate of Miller's agent Joby Branion and spoke with him about Miller's intentions.

“I think Von feels like there’s a pretty good chance he’s going to sign some point either before camp or -- I mean, I don’t think Von’s too crazy about going to training camp,” Baldinger told the DNVR Broncos podcast. “Most guys that age aren’t. They know what they need to do. He looks in great shape. So, I would say he’s going to get signed here [relatively soon].”

Baldinger added that he believes the Baltimore Ravens would be a great fit for Miller, but Branion didn't say much to that. However, Branion did say there were "three very interested teams" in Miller, but he did not want to pry by asking who those teams were.

Miller is 36 years old and will be entering his 14th year in the NFL in 2025. Last year with the Bills, he collected six sacks, seven TFLs, and eight quarterback hits in 13 games. The veteran is coming to the end of his career, but he's shown he still has some gas left in the tank.

Baldinger expects Miller to sign somewhere soon, and we'll just have to wait and see where that ends up being.
