Looking for a new opportunity in the league, former Denver Broncos fullback Andrew Beck has found a new home with the New York Jets.
KPRC 2's Aaron Wilson reported on Friday, "per a league source," that Beck signed a one-year deal with the Jets.
Beck played for the Broncos from 2019 to 2022, when the team used him as a fullback and special teams player.
Denver signed him off of waivers from the New England Patriots, and Beck immediately filled in for Andy Janovich due to injury. Beck had nine catches for 90 yards and a touchdown in 2019.
He mostly played special teams in 2020 and 2021, but Beck found his way back on offense in 2022 as a tight end due to Greg Dulcich's injury. Beck had five catches for 69 yards that season.
He signed with the Houston Texans in 2023 as a fullback. Beck caught 13 passes for 55 yards and two touchdowns that season, and he scored on an 85-yard kick-off return, too.
Unfortunately for Beck, he landed on the active/physically unable to perform list in July 2024 due to injury.
He couldn't make up the ground in time to make the Texans roster, so he joined the Green Bay Packers for a chunk of the 2024 season, during which he played three games before being released.
Beck re-signed with the Texans in November 2024 and played one game for the team.
