Former Dolphins Star Reveals Tyreek Hill's Admission After Injury Against Jets

Tyreek Hill had a rather peculiar reaction to what could very well be a career-threatening injury on Monday night. The Miami Dolphins star had to be brought to a nearby hospital after twisting his leg in the third quarter of their 27-21 win over the New York Jets, and Hill was seen clapping and laughing as he was carted off the field.

Former Dolphins star Terron Armstead, who got the chance to play alongside Hill for three seasons before retiring in 2024, revealed that he received a call from Hill shortly after the incident. Armstead, a five-time Pro Bowl tackle, took to social media to reveal what Hill told him during their FaceTime call, including a rather unexpected admission from the Dolphins wide receiver.

“I just got a FaceTime call from my brother @cheetah ‼️ First thing he said ‘man I’m just happy we got that win’!! He’s in good spirits and said he was laughing through the pain, to avoid passing out!! crazy! Praying for best news possible and speedy recovery! ” Armstead posted on X.

Hill was delighted with the win, which was Miami’s first of the season. However, he was anything but happy about the gruesome injury he sustained and was merely smiling through the pain. In fact, according to Armstead, the five-time All-Pro wideout was on the brink of passing out.

To be fair, Hill was in good spirits after the injury. The 31-year-old posted a photo on Snapchat of himself with a big smile on his face along with a one-word caption — “Blessed.”

As of writing, the Dolphins have yet to provide the full details of what appears to be a season-ending knee injury for Hill. However, it would probably be safe to assume at this point that Miami will need to start making plans without its best player on the field for an extended period.
