The Dallas Cowboys made a coaching change after the 2024 NFL season ended.
They parted ways with former head coach Mike McCarthy and hired Brian Schottenheimer to take his place. Schottenheimer was the Cowboys' offensive coordinator under McCarthy before being promoted.
They also hired Klayton Adams as offensive coordinator and Matt Eberflus as defensive coordinator. This is a team that wants to get back to the playoffs this upcoming season since they only won seven games in 2024.
McCarthy won't be an NFL head coach during the 2025 season, but he will be taking part in Pat McAfee's NFL Draft show in Green Bay, Wisconsin. McAfee announced the news on Monday.

This is the second straight year that McAfee will have a former head coach as part of his NFL Draft live show. He had Bill Belichick on his show last year before he accepted North Carolina's offer to be the school's next head football coach.
It will be good to get McCarthy's insight during the draft since he is a very experienced head coach. He helped the Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers to win Super Bowl XLV during the 2010 season and was their head coach for 13 seasons.
He then moved on to the Cowboys and was their head coach for five seasons until they parted ways. During his Cowboys' tenure, McCarthy went 49-35, leading them to the playoffs three times.
He has compiled a 174-112-2 record as a head coach in the NFL.
The 2025 NFL Draft will run from April 24-26 in Green Bay. The first round will be on Thursday, followed by rounds two and three on Friday, and rounds four through seven on Saturday.
You can watch the draft on ESPN, ABC, and NFL Network.
