Former Oregon star is still repping the Ducks during Sunday's game in the NFL

Those cleats are so fresh.

Oregon obviously has a strong presence in the way of their jersey combinations and their gear. Some love it, some hate it, but seeing a former player who has emerged into a star that's on his way to becoming a household name in the NFL wearing the Oregon colors is incredibly fun. 

Gonzalez is a rangy, hyper-athletic cornerback that's terrific in coverage, and is part of a young core that the Patriots are looking to build around going forward. They have their quarterback of the future in Drake Maye, now it's about piecing things together and building out a competitive roster going forward. 

Oregon went through the regular season this year putting new uniform combinations on the field each game. They haven't yet revealed what their jerseys for the Rose Bowl will look like, but it's almost assuredly a new combination.

"Gonzo" had a standout career at Oregon before blowing up the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine with a 4.38 40-yard dash on his way to the Patriots selecting him with the 17th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
