Antonio Brown is again under the spotlight for taking a direct jab at the NFL stars on social media. He sparked an intense debate after comparing himself to the league’s most respected receivers.

Former Steelers’ wide receiver Antonio Brown just called Odell Beckham Jr. and Julio Jones ‘trash’ during his TikTok livestream on May 25. While taking the trash bags, Brown pointed to the garbage can, comparing it to Jones and Beckham.

“#Steelers legend Antonio Brown just called OBJ and Julio Jones TRASH on TikTok Live,” the post captioned.

The post immediately drew attention across NFL circles, as fans debated whether Brown’s peak years truly outperformed those of Jones and Beckham.

Brown referred to himself as ‘bigger’ while responding to comparisons with Julio Jones and Beckham Jr. During his prime with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brown was one of the most productive wide receivers in football.

“AB really the best WR out this group respectfully,” Brown stated on social media.

Between 2013 and 2018, he recorded six straight 100-catch seasons. He was also consistently ranked near the top of the league in receiving yards and touchdowns.

Despite the claims made by Brown, Jones and Beckham Jr. have transformed offenses in the Falcons and Giants during their tenures.

Brown finished his NFL career with more than 12,000 receiving yards and a Super Bowl title during his stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Many fans have split over the debate. Some supported Brown with his stats and All-Pro selections, while others argued that professionalism and team success should matter when comparing legendary receivers.

Antonio Brown Revisits Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Departure

Antonio Brown’s NFL career is full of controversies and messy departures. When someone pointed Jones never walked out on his team during the same livestream, it brought back flashes of his departure from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

During his appearance on Tyreek Hill’s podcast, Brown discussed his injury issues and frustrations with the franchise.

“I already know they were being fake to me the whole time I was there,” Brown said. “I got suspended and I came back and they had some guys hurt, so they wanted to get everything out of me — they treated me like I’m a dog.”

Brown’s exit remains one of the most bizarre moments in recent NFL history. He removed parts of his uniform and walked off the field against the New York Jets before the Buccaneers officially released him shortly after.

Despite the controversies, Brown’s performances during his prime years is still discussed as one of the best wideouts of his generation.
