Bryce Perkins received a Super Bowl ring after Sean McVay, Matthew Stafford, and the Los Angeles Rams won it all in 2022. Now playing in the United Football League, Perkins is after another crown. He can boast about being the league's premier player as he faces the D.C. Defenders for the UFL championship on Saturday.

"Former #Rams QB and current Michigan Panthers QB Bryce Perkins has been named UFL MVP for the 2025 season," Ari Meirov wrote Friday on X.

Perkins, a Virginia Cavaliers product, played in five games for the Rams during the 2022 go-round, starting a 26-10 loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12. Perkins went a pedestrian 13 for 23 for 100 yards, one touchdown, and an interception in the defeat.

He's been much more impactful as of late.

Perkins played in seven of the Panthers' 10 regular-season matchups, completing 109 of 158 pass attempts for 1,342 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions. He posted a 108.7 quarterback rating. He also rushed for 269 yards and five scores on 47 totes.

Michigan went 6-4 during the regular season, finishing behind the two-time defending spring league champion Birmingham Stallions in the USFL Conference.

Perkins was nearly flawless during a 44-29 win over Birmingham in the USFL Conference title clash, hitting the mark on all but five of his 25 throws for 238 yards and a touchdown.

Arlington's Luis Perez led the league with 2,298 passing yards and D.C.'s Jordan Ta'amu with 17 passing touchdowns. Perkins played fewer games than them both.
