Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Hendon Hooker, who is entering his third season with the Detroit Lions, could be reunited in the NFL with a former UT teammate.
NFL insider Aaron Wilson reported on Thursday that former Vols running back Jabari Small will work out for the Lions this week.
Small spent time on the Tennessee Titans' practice squad as a rookie last season.

Small comes from a football family. His father played @OleMissFB and his uncles were both All @SEC wide receivers @GeorgiaFootball and @GatorsFB
Small played at Tennessee from 2020 to 2023. He was teammates with Hooker in Knoxville in 2021 and 2022.
The Memphis native rushed for 2,122 yards and 24 touchdowns during his career at Tennessee. Small also caught 32 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns.
Small, who is reliable in pass protection, profiles as a third down/depth option for an NFL team due to lacking the size, speed, and burst to make a big impact on Sundays.
