A former Tennessee Vols defensive back is reportedly receiving some first team reps during NFL minicamp this week.
According to reporter Andy Herman, former Tennessee cornerback Kamal Hadden received some first reps with the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday.
Hadden was in position to receive first team reps due to starter Nate Hobbs, who signed a four-year deal with the Packers earlier this offseason, being out for personal reasons.

Hadden, who spent three seasons at Tennessee, was selected in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Michigan native never appeared in a game for the Chiefs. Hadden, in fact, was waived by Kansas City before the start of the 2024 season.
Green Bay signed Hadden to their practice squad shortly after he was waived by Kansas City. The former Vol was elevated to Packers' active roster twice in 2024.

We'll see if Hadden can lock down a spot on the Packers' roster this summer. There's still a long way to go before the start of the 2025 season, and a lot can change, but the fact that Hadden is receiving some first team reps in early June is certainly a good sign for his chances of making Green Bay's 53-man roster.
