Former Tennessee Vols WR Jauan Jennings receives shoutout during George Kittle's comments about the current state of the 49ers

Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jauan Jennings received a cool shoutout from his San Francisco 49ers teammate, superstar tight end George Kittle, on Thursday.

Kittle spoke to reporters about the state of the 49ers at this point in this offseason and the six-time Pro Bowl tight end noted that the vibes are immaculate in the building before shouting out Jennings.

"I will say one of the cool things about being in the building right now is that I think 99 percent of us are here," said Kittle. "And so when you have all your best players here kind of setting the tone, setting an example. Specifically, because we have so many new guys, whether it's free agents, whether it's young guys, we're trying to get them in that same mindset that we have established. And it's something that we have to reestablish every year.

"So the fact that we're all here having a good time, the vibes are high -- I would say they're immaculate. Guys are practicing well. Guys are competing. Jauan is still on fire, which is really fun to see. So yeah, the boys are feeling it."

Kittle hasn't been shy about praising Jennings over the last couple of years. In fact, it was almost exactly a year ago that Kittle called Jennings "one of one".

"Anyone that watches tape, they look at Jauan's tape and go 'holy cow, this guy is one of one,'" said Kittle last summer. "His mindset and his attitude when he's on a football field is completely different....That's someone that you want to be in your building. That's someone that you want to pay. That's someone that you want to reward because he's just going to keep bringing it every day and it's just going raise the standard around him. When you have a guy like that that does everything, it's great for us."

Jennings is coming off his best season in the NFL after catching 77 passes for 975 yards and six touchdowns last year.
