Fox Sports Makes Jameis Winston Announcement Before Super Bowl LIX

Super Bowl LIX is on the horizon with a matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles set to kick off on Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET. 

Before the respective conference title winners compete for a Super Bowl ring, Fox Sports revealed exciting news about the broadcast of the game. 

Cleveland Browns quarterback and NFL fan favorite Jameis Winston is set to join the Fox Sports Digital crew as a correspondent leading up to Super Bowl LIX,  per Front Office Sports

According to Ryan Glasspiegel at FOS, Winston will be taking fans on digital journeys, showcasing his favorite dining and entertainment spots in New Orleans. 

Winston played for the New Orleans Saints, competing at the Superdome, the location of Super Bowl LIX, from 2020-23. 

He played 21 games during his time with the Saints and totaled 20 touchdowns and 2,367 yards in four seasons. 

Winston served as the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns for much of the 2024 season following an injury to Deshaun Watson

During the 2024 season, Winston recorded 13 touchdowns and 2,121 passing yards with a 61.1 completion percentage and a 55.6 QBR. 

Following his lone season with the Browns, Winston will be an unrestricted free agent.
