The downtown Minneapolis condo owned by former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks has hit the market.
The nearly 2,000-square-foot loft can be found in the Whitney Lofts at 150 Portland Ave., with the unit offering stunning views of the Mississippi River and a balcony overlooking the famous Stone Arch Bridge.
The condo is listed for $1,099,000 with the Prudden Company. It comprises two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a den/office space, and it's one of only three units on the top floor of the Whitney building.
"Experience the perfect blend of history and modern living in this stunning loft, where original character meets contemporary comfort," the listing from Prudden Co. reads.
"Soaring ceilings, massive timber beams, and exposed brick walls showcase the building’s heritage, while steel accents add an industrial-chic edge. Oversized windows frame sweeping views of the river, filling the space with natural light and a sense of openness. An ideal home for those who appreciate authentic architectural detail, dramatic style, and a one-of-a-kind connection to the city’s history and waterfront."
Kendricks told the Star Tribune via email that a "huge part of me doesn't want to sell it," having rented it out since leaving Minnesota and moving back to his native California.
The 33-year-old announced his retirement from the NFL in July. He left the Vikings in 2023 when he was released to free up cap space.
Kendricks had spent eight seasons in Minnesota after he was selected in the second-round of the 2015 draft out of UCLA. He played 117 regular season games and six playoff games during his time in the Twin Cities.
