New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson has seen his name floating in trade rumors, but he isn’t worried about that.

While speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Wilson said he does not plan on requesting a trade from the Jets.

“I try and control what I can control — go out and run good routes, catch the ball when it’s thrown my way; you know, have a good impact on my teammates, and yeah you know, that’s all I can really control,” Wilson said.

“That’s what I’m gonna do; but at the end of the day, I got no clue on stuff like that.” Like I said, it’s just kind of how the industry works when you don’t go out and put a good product out there.”

Trade rumors picked up after Wilson was seen throwing a fit on the sideline during the Jets’ 28-25 overtime loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Wilson clarified that he wasn’t upset with Geno Smith, but the two were “collaborating,” and they were “disappointed” with the way they had been playing.

The Jets gave Wilson a four-year, $130 million contract extension in 2025, but if he were made available, he would easily be the top WR on the market ahead of the Nov. 10 deadline.

Wilson was selected at No. 10 overall in 2022.
