New York Jets star Garrett Wilson is aware of what the media is saying about his team's 0-6 start to the season.

Unfortunately for Aaron Glenn and the Jets, they reached a new low in Week 6 against the Denver Broncos. His offense had just 82 total yards of offense in a 13-11 loss. Although it doesn't sound possible, Justin Fields had just nine completions for 45 yards.

During an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" this past Monday, ESPN's Dan Orlovsky suggested that Wilson's talent is being wasted on the Jets.

"Garrett Wilson's career is like dying there. He's being wasted talent-wise," Orlovsky said. "I've defended Justin a lot. I don't think yesterday's performance it totally on Justin, but Garrett's open. If it's man coverage, just throw the ball to him. I don't care what the read says."

Orlovsky continued,"I think they have to entertain trading every one of value because you're 0-6 and it doesn't look promising."

On Thursday night, Wilson fired back at Orlovsky on Instagram. He posted a photo along with this caption: "Never wasted."

There's no question this post from Wilson was directed towards Orlovsky. With that said, he's receiving a ton of love from Jets fans.

Wilson is committed to New York.

Prior to the start of the 2025 season, Wilson agreed to a four-year, $130 million contract extension with the Jets. Suffice to say, he won't be moved at the trade deadline.

Besides, Wilson has performed well despite his team's lack of success. He has 36 catches for 395 yards and four touchdowns this season.

The bad news for the Jets is that Wilson isn't expected to suit up for this Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers due to a knee injury.
