San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle could eventually have something else in common with retired all-time great Rob Gronkowski.
In comments shared by TMZ Sports over the weekend, Kittle suggested that he could perform in World Wrestling Entertainment. The four-time Pro Bowl selection confidently declared he has the right personality to portray a wrestling character and said that getting inside the squared circle one day "sounds fun."
According to Andre Porter of Ringside News, Kittle said during an appearance on San Francisco radio station KNBR in December that he is "open to all opportunities" as it pertains to professional wrestling. According to Adam Wells of Bleacher Report, Kittle is a known wrestling fan who uses a hand gesture made popular by Penta El Zero Miedo of All Elite Wrestling during NFL games. Kittle received a luchador mask from the AEW star back in November.

Kittle has also appeared at shows held by smaller pro wrestling organizations.

As TMZ mentioned, Gronkowski famously got involved in a match at "WrestleMania 33" back in April 2017.
Roughly three years later, Gronkowski temporarily became a WWE champion.
Gronkowski has repeatedly insisted he won't make another return to the NFL, but Kittle is only 29 years old and, thus, likely isn't nearing retirement quite yet. However, perhaps Gronkowski and Kittle could someday form a WWE tag team and dominate editions of "Raw" and "SmackDown" before the end of the decade.
