Las Vegas Raiders tight end and Georgia Bulldogs legend Brock Bowers has officially graduated from the University of Georgia, earning a finance degree from the Terry College of Business.
Although he declared for the NFL Draft after his junior year, Bowers made the decision to return to Athens to finish his coursework and walk in the commencement ceremony on May 9, 2025.
His mother, DeAnna Bowers, marked the occasion by posting a photo of Brock in his graduation cap and gown alongside his longtime girlfriend, Cameron Rose Newell, with the caption, “He did it!”

During his collegiate career at Georgia, Bowers became a two-time John Mackey Award winner and a unanimous All-American, helping lead the Bulldogs to two national championships. He carried that success into the NFL, posting 112 receptions for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns in his rookie season.
His outstanding efforts earned him his first Pro Bowl and All-Pro nod as he set new benchmarks for receptions by a rookie player (112) and receiving yards by a rookie tight end (1,194). He also earned a second-place finish in the Offensive Rookie of the Year voting.
By completing his degree while launching a professional football career, Bowers has once again shown his unwavering dedication both on and off the field.
While Bowers' new home is in Vegas, he won't be straying too far from Athens -- even after graduation.
That's because Bowers teamed up with AirStar Charter, a local luxury private jet company located in Swainsboro, Ga.
“AirStar, a leader in private aviation, is proud to announce its official partnership with one of football's most exciting rising stars- Brock Bowers,” the local private jet company wrote in an official release. “Known for his unmatched work ethic, game-changing plays, and relentless pursuit of excellence, Bowers represents the same elite standards AirStar delivers in the sky.”
Bowers becomes just the second former Bulldogs player to partner with AirStar, following quarterback Carson Beck.
"Last year working with Carson Beck was really good for us as a company. ... So it definitely had a huge impact on it," AirStar Charter vice president Jeremiah Stoddard told UGASports. "And we got what we needed, working with Carson over the last year. And we figured it was a great opportunity to now be able to kind of branch away from specifically a college athlete, but a former really good athlete in college that has had a good year as a rookie in the NFL as well."
