Kirby Lee-USA Today Network

There was good news for the New York Giants on the injury front ahead of their Week 17 game against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Giants, who held a full practice on Thursday, upgraded several players who had been projected to be unable to practice on Wednesday. Those include cornerback Deonte Banks (shoulder), tight end Lawrence Cager (groin), and defensive linemen Dexter Lawrence (hamstring), A’Shawn Robinson (back), and Rakeem Nunez-Roches (knee), all of whom were upgraded to limited status.

The Giants also upgraded several players who were initially projected as limited on Wednesday to full status, including running back Saquon Barkley (elbow), offensive linemen Ben Bredeson (quad) and John Michael Schmitz (shoulder), receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (quad), defensive back Adoree' Jackson (ankle), and tight end Darren Waller (knee).

Punter Jamie Gillan (left goin/left knee) and offensive lineman Justin Pugh (elbow) remain limited. Pugh, however, had a back issue added to his injury status.
