Jaxson Dart led the New York Giants to their first win of the 2025 NFL season in Week 4, taking down Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers 21-18. Dart, the Giants' No. 25 pick in the first round of this year's draft, had begun the season as the backup quarterback, with Russell Wilson earning the starting role. However, a 0-3 start forced Brian Daboll to make a change, giving Dart his first NFL start.

Dart did not disappoint in his starting debut, completing 13-of-20 passes for 111 yards and the first throwing touchdown of his career. He also got it done on the ground, rushing for 54 yards and his first rushing score. And with his performance, Dart joins some elite company.

On Monday, the Giants announced that Dart has been named the Week 4 Nickelodeon NVP. The award is voted on by kids and given out weekly by the family-friendly network. Others to win the award include Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones (Week 1), Dallas Cowboys quarterback Brandon Aubrey (Week 2) and Minnesota Vikings cornerback Isaiah Rodgers (Week 3).

"What up Jax?" the NVP presenter said to Dart. "Congratulations, you are this week's NVP. So, you know what that means."

The rookie proceeded to get doused with green slime, a tradition at Nickelodeon.

"Jaxson Dart is your Week 4 @Nickelodeon NVP!" the Giants wrote on X.

While Dart didn't see much action in Week 1, he did get a few running plays in during Weeks 2 and 3. In the overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Dart had one run of a loss of three yards, followed by a carry for three yards in the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Dart will get another crack at it in Week 5, when the Giants hit the road to take on the New Orleans Saints, who find themselves at 0-4.
