The New York Giants' best offensive weapon, Malik Nabers, has been largely absent this offseason, with the receiver dealing with an injury.

We saw reports that it was a minor back injury, and if that is the case, it is natural for the Giants to be cautious because that is one part of the body you can't take risks on.

So Nabers has been a slow burn in his second offseason, and with the regular season just a few weeks away, the Giants would love to have their No. 1 weapon on the field.

But will they?

In what is a good development, Giants reporter Jared Schwartz posted a video at practice and Nabers was participating in individual drills, which is a great sign.

Coming off a rookie season that saw Nabers post 109 receptions for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns, it is clear he will be the straw that stirs the offense's drink in 2025, with the Giants desperately needing him to play all 17 games.

With Russell Wilson as the starter right now, Nabers is going to have to put up some serious numbers for New York to win games this upcoming season and having him fully healthy is the key to that.

So, it is only preseason, and yes, Week 1 is just around the corner, but this isn't the time to rush the star receiver; it is the time to methodically work him back into football shape.

Will he be on the field against the Washington Commanders? It feels like it's trending that way.
