It was not a secret that Jordan Love wanted Micah Parsons to be a Green Bay Packer. Well, he got what he wished for, as the Dallas Cowboys ended their football marriage with the linebacker by trading him to the Green Bay Packers on Thursday for defensive tackle Kenny Clark, a first-round pick in 2026 and another first-rounder in 2027.
Those were all it took for the Packers to acquire Parsons from Jerry World. They also signed Parsons to a sweet four-year, $188 million contract extension. What the Cowboys did not give Parsons, Green Bay happily obliged to.
And of course, everyone in Green Bay is smiling ear to ear, including the Packers’ star quarterback — and his wife, Ronika Stone Love.
Love, who is entering his third season as Green Bay’s full-time starting QB, posted a “fiery” reaction to the Parsons trade.

Ronika, on the other hand, shared an Instagram Story showing a smiling Love in a suit during their wedding day. She captioned it with “Mood.”
The Packers are viewed more as an offensive-minded team than a defensive-centric squad, but the arrival of Parsons has greatly narrowed the gap between the stop unit and the offense — if it hasn’t overtaken it.
In any case, Green Bay now boasts of a defense that has arguably the most dangerous pass rusher in the NFL today.
In four seasons with the Cowboys, Parsons collected a total of 52.5 sacks — that’s more than all the sacks the Packers generated in 2024.
