Carter Davis reported an offer from Brian Kelly and LSU on Friday.
Davis is a product of Gulf Shores High School in Alabama, and he is a member of the 2027 recruiting class. He now holds offers from LSU, Georgia State, Grambling, Louisiana and others.
The 6-foot, 170-pound wide receiver is excited after earning an offer from LSU at camp.
“It feels great,” Davis told Touchdown Alabama. “It is very exciting to see success from all of the dedication and hard work. It is a true blessing. I went to the camp and balled out.”
Davis shared he ran a 4.4 forty-yard dash and 44-inch vertical during camp. These results helped him secure the offer.
LSU’s wide receiver coach Cortez Hankton approached Davis after camp and presented him with the offer.
“He came away very impressed and told me they would love to have me back up on campus,” Davis said. “LSU has their own energy and vibe. They definitely stand out from other programs.”
Davis is planning to visit the Crimson Tide this weekend. Alabama is expected to host several high profile recruits.
