Tennessee Vols legend and NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning says a popular ManningCast guest won't return to the show in 2025.

Last year, while unemployed, legendary head coach Bill Belichick appeared on all 11 editions of the ManningCast during the 2024 NFL season.

Belichick shared unique insights, unheard stories, and a few laughs during his first-half appearances with Peyton and Eli during those 11 Monday night appearances.

Unfortunately for football fans, Belichick, who is currently the head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels, won't appear on the show this fall.

"He obviously seems busy right now coaching college football, so he won't be back this year," said Manning this week during a brief interview with 97.1 The Fan when asked about Belichick. "So he'll be hard to replace. I thought his insight was great, but we'll probably go back to kind of rotating guests and having coaches and players. Which I always like their insight. But also the actors and musicians that -- you know, the common criteria to be a guest is you got to love football. And Eli and I both love being around people who love football as much as we do. And [from] all different walks of life, right?

"President (Barack) Obama, a Bears fan. Condoleezza Rice, a Broncos fan. Snoop Dogg, a Steelers fan. Three different walks of life and we can all kind of come together and watch a football game together. That's probably the best part about it."

Belichick initially continued his appearances on the ManningCast after he was hired by UNC last December, so there was some hope that he would be able to squeeze in some appearances in 2025.

Unfortunately, that won't be the case. Maybe Peyton and Eli can see what Tom Brady is up to on Monday nights...
