The NFL released its complete schedule for the 2025 season on Wednesday. Here is the blockbuster game (and another intriguing matchup) for every team in the AFC South.
BLOCKBUSTER GAME: at Kansas City Chiefs, Dec. 7 (Week 14): Can the Texans finally get over the hump? They've lost five consecutive games against the Chiefs, including twice last season: in Week 16 and the AFC divisional round.
Houston didn't make the leap many expected last season after surprisingly winning the AFC South in 2023, posting an identical 10-7 record. Finally beating the conference's best team, on "Sunday Night Football" no less, will prove how far the Texans have come — and how far they still must go.
ALSO INTRIGUING: vs. Buffalo Bills, Nov. 20 (Week 12): When these teams played last October, the Texans held league MVP Josh Allen to his worst completion percentage in his seven-year career, limiting him to 9-of-30 passing for 131 yards in a 23-20 win.
BLOCKBUSTER GAME: vs. Atlanta Falcons, Nov. 9 (Week 10): The Colts head across the pond to play the Falcons in Berlin. The game showcases two of the league's best running backs, Colts' Jonathan Taylor and Falcons' Bijan Robinson.
ALSO INTRIGUING: vs. Denver Broncos, Sept. 14 (Week 2): Speaking of Taylor, he gets a chance early in the season to make up for last year's catastrophic blunder in Denver when the Colts host the Broncos in mid-September.

Last December, Taylor nearly gave Indianapolis a 13-point lead following a long run, but he dropped the ball before the goal line, giving the Broncos possession via touchback. From there, Denver scored 24 unanswered points to win, 31-13.
BLOCKBUSTER GAME: vs. Los Angeles Rams, Oct. 19 (Week 7): The Jaguars once again travel to London for a regular-season game, this time to play the Rams, who they share ties with. Jacksonville poached general manager James Gladstone from the Rams front office, and first-year head coach Liam Coen spent three seasons with the organization as an assistant position coach (2018-20) and another as offensive coordinator (2022).
ALSO INTRIGUING: vs. Carolina Panthers, Sept. 7 (Week 1): Jaguars cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter is the most hyped rookie in his class, and we're looking forward to our first regular-season look at him in the NFL.
Hunter could find himself lined up on defense opposite of Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan. The two had an incredible one-on-one matchup in 2023, when Hunter was at Colorado and McMillan at Arizona.

BLOCKBUSTER GAME: vs. Patriots, Oct. 19 (Week 7): Mike Vrabel returns to Nashville in mid-October after being fired by the Titans following the 2023 season. The quarterback battle will be compelling, pitting Patriots second-year pro Drake Maye and 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward against each other.
ALSO INTRIGUING: at Cleveland Browns, Dec. 7 (Week 14): Could we get a late-season battle between rookie quarterbacks? The Browns could possibly start either Dillon Gabriel or Shedeur Sanders at this juncture of the season depending on where they are in the standings. Ward was the clear-cut QB1 during the draft process, and he might have a chance to show how wide the gap is against either of Cleveland's rookies.
