Highlights of Dolphins 1st Training Camp Practice on Wednesday

The Miami Dolphins had their first training camp practice today on Wednesday. We have a little birdie on site who was able to view it as it is not open to the public. Also, the local media were on site and have reports of what took place as well. Here are some notes and highlights below of what took place at the Dolphins’ first training camp practice from our little birdie. This was a practice where the players did not wear pads.

The practice started inside the bubble, then moved outside.

Alexander Mattison had a very good run on the day.

Bradley Chubb was wearing a brace on his right knee.

Chubb almost had a sack, but Austin Jackson held him off but was called for a penalty on that play.

Jaylen Waddle caught a 20 yard pass from Tua

Zach Sieler did participate in both team and individual drills, which was in question because he is looking for a new contract.

Tua hit Alec Ingold on a short pass which he turned up field and ran 20 yards or so afterwards.

Willie Gay got to Achane in the backfield on what would have been a Tackle for Loss.

De’Von Achane had a nice 20 yard run today on a play.

Mohamed Kamara jumped offsides on a play.

Patrick Paul had a good day at left tackle.

Tanner Conner on a nice 20 yard catch and run fumbled; Cam Smith picked up the fumble and ran it back about 20 yards.

Quinn Ewers had a very pretty 20 yard completion to WR Andrew Armstrong.

Jaelan Phillips and Chop Robinson got pressure on Tua today at times.

Zach Wilson hit Erik Ezukanma on a nice passing play.

James Daniels participated in a portion of team drills before going off to the side to do conditioning work.

James Daniels was called for a false start on two consecutive plays in team drills.

Tua hit Malik Washington on a 10 yard pass and Dee Eskridge on roughly a 15 yard pass.

Quinn Ewers hit Hayden Rucci for about 20 yards in a 7 on 7 drill.
