How Travis Kelce’s Parents Really Feel About Him Marrying Taylor Swift Revealed

With Super Bowl 59 officially in the rearview, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has an important decision to make.

Yes, deciding whether or not he wants to return for his 13th NFL season is likely at the top of his to-do list, the decision Kelce is likely weighing that many non-football fans are waiting to hear about is when he plans to propose to girlfriend Taylor Swift.

The couple have been dating for over a year-and-a-half and are reportedly buying a home together in Kansas City sometime during the offseason, and it just seems like a formality that an engagement would soon be on the horizon as well.

The Daily Mail reported back in December after Swift’s “Eras Tour” wrapped up after two years on the road that her friends and family were encouraging the 35-year-old singer/songwriter to settle down with the Pro Bowl TE and finally start a family.

But how does Kelce’s family feel about the possibility of him marrying arguably the most famous recording artist in the world? Well, according to a report from Page Six, fans now know the answer.

“A source exclusively tells Page Six that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s family ‘adores’ the pop superstar and thinks she’s a ‘perfect fit for Travis,’” the outlet reported. “Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, dad, Ed Kelce, and brother, Jason Kelce ‘would love to see Taylor and Travis spend their lives together.’”

It seems that everyone in the couple’s inner circle has not only signed off on them tying the knot but they fully endorse it.

Kelce and Swift’s families have also spent plenty of time together since they started dating. Kelce’s brother Jason and his wife Kylie have sat with Swift in her suite at Chiefs games throughout the year, as have both of Kelce’s parents.

Swift’s parents, Andrea and Scott, as well as her brother, Austin, have also spent lots of time with Kelce, even showing up to games with Swift decked out in Chiefs apparel in support of the seven-time All-Pro.

“[His family has] never seen Travis so happy with a girlfriend before,” Page Six’s source continued. “It also helps that the NFL athlete’s family gets along great with Taylor’s family too. Their families blend seamlessly.”
