Tom Brady recently spoke about Antonio Brown in his latest appearance on the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast with Logan Paul. Brady was asked about his opinion on Brown’s screenshot of private messages between them. In the screenshot that Brown shared, Brady can be seen asking the wide receiver to continue his appointments with his psychologist. Brown tweeted sarcastically that he could not believe Brady was asking him to seek care for his mental health.
Antonio Brown played in the NFL from 2010 all the way until 2021. Brown was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers as the 195th pick in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL draft and played for the team until 2018. However, soon after that, the wide receiver was moved around to the Oakland Raiders, the New England Patriots next, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he played with Brady.
“I mean, I wanted the best for him. I think I saw a spark in him that I thought if it was put in the right place, how incredible it could be for not just the team he was on, but for his life and what he could accomplish. We picked him up at the Patriots and he played one game and we released him Friday afternoon,” Brady said. “And then there was just a lot of things that were happening in his life that he needed to focus on. And the team decided, the Patriots, said no, ‘We’re not dealing with this.’ (The) league had some issues, and then we ended up going to Tampa. Then he came back after a suspension in Tampa, and I just thought okay if I can help him like I’d love to help him, because he’d help our team, it helps his life, and then, you know, I just again I always root for the best.” Tom Brady said about Antonio Brown in the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast.
Messages with Tom Brady were not the only ones that Antonio Brown has shared in a series of rants on his X account. Apart from the screenshot where Brady advises Brown to continue seeing a psychologist, the retired wide receiver also accused the former quarterback’s ex-wife of cheating on him.
