Josh Allen had an incredible 2024 season, capping it off with his first MVP Award.
However, that's still not enough for the Buffalo Bills quarterback. And he made a very telling comment about this major award that shows just how much of a competitor he truly is.
"On one hand, I always want to be in the conversation with this award. I don’t care about winning it. I’d rather win a Super Bowl," Allen told Fox News Digital. "If I won the next 10 MVPs, I’d trade in all 10 of them for one Super Bowl trophy."
But, he's still thankful for this incredible honor and made sure to make it clear that it wouldn't have been possible without his team.
"Just got to keep putting the head down, and working hard no matter what we did last year. It's not going to carry over to this year," he said. "I do thank voters, all my teammates and coaches helping me get to that point. It is a really cool award and very rewarding in terms of your career’s hard work. That’s where I do think it’s a cool award, but at the same time, I’m only playing for one thing and that’s winning a Super Bowl."
With Allen leading the way, the Bills certainly have what they need to win a Super Bowl and finally get Buffalo its first Lombardi Trophy. In the team's history, they appeared in four consecutive Super Bowls from 1991 to 1994, but lost every single one. And in the Allen era, the Bills have not been able to get past the AFC Championship with the Kansas City Chiefs often standing in their way.
But, Allen is more determined than ever. And he has proven time and time again that he's willing to put his team above all else.
It's Buffalo's time to win!
