It's officially time for kickoff. Tonight, two Goliaths will face off in what is sure to be one of the best opening night games in recent memory. The reigning Super Bowl Kansas City Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens in a rematch of the AFC Championship game.

Don't call this a revenge game. This is just another opponent on the schedule the Ravens need to take down to get back to the Super Bowl. Nothing is going to get in the way of this Ravens team and their championship ambitions.

There are some new faces on both sides of the ball. However, both rosters look relatively similar to the last time they met back in late January. That feels like ages ago. The weather in that game was much colder and a bit wetter than what we are expecting tonight. Here is the most up-to-date forecast for tonight's Ravens game.

Weather forecast

Clear skies, full focus, can't lose. The forecast for tonight's game looks beautiful. The game will start off in the low 80s, with minor gusts of wind blowing in the six-to-eight mile-per-hour range, and a zero percent chance of rain. In short, the weather is perfect for football.

Game day implications

Typically weather doesn't play much of a factor unless it's rude conditions. For tonight's game, there is no rain predicted, no winds, no snow, and it won't be too hot. By all accounts, the weather will have no impact on the game whatsoever, which is great for good ole fashioned football.

When the weather is as clear and nice as it will be for tonight's game, the game is at its simplest. There are no special game plans for weather-related reasons. There are just the regular game plans and play calls that will go head-to-head to determine which team is better. Tonight, the teams will be able to put all their focus on football and nothing else. You couldn't ask for a better start to the season.
