Is the Steelers' answer at LB already on the team?

The Steelers have a big question mark at inside linebacker heading into 2023, but is their answer to the position already on the team?

It may just come in the form of LB Mark Robinson, one of Pittsburgh's two seventh-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. He started the last two games of the season and he's ready for his shot.

"I don't want to say I'm anxious but just being prepared for the moment and understanding what it takes to be here," Robinson said ahead of Pittsburgh's Week 17 matchup. "When the opportunity comes your way, we just pray, we get up and go do it. We live for it."

The 23-year-old played in just four games in 2022, totaling nine tackles. However, the Steelers need to try something new at the position after their inside linebacker group combined for just one sack and zero interceptions, forced fumbles and fumble recoveries.

Robinson has already started putting in work this offseason in hopes of at least getting the opportunity.

The Ole Miss product may still be a long shot to start next season as he's been viewed as more of a project after making the switch from running back to linebacker in college. But having to put in extra work isn't anything new for Robinson and he still says that switching positions was the "best decision I ever made."
