After Week 4, it is completely clear that the Houston Texans have a ground game issue as they are collectively struggling to run efficiently and lack a clear game plan overall to create an efficient ground game overall.
With the inefficiency that the Texans have shown on the ground it is leading to a clear decision where fantasy football managers need to bench David Montgomery going forward.
With how poorly the ground game has been, it has led to Montgomery having just 2.8 yards per carry and he has only forced five missed tackles.
On top of the offense not having a great run scheme, there is also the emergence of Woody Marks that has also started to cut into Montgomery’s snap count. Montgomery shouldn’t be cut, but he isn’t sustainable enough to keep in lineups currently.
