According to Ian Rapoport, Jaguars DT DaVon Hamilton tore his quad in Sunday’s win over the Colts.
Rapoport says the injury will likely end Hamilton’s season, which is an unfortunate loss as he was an important piece of their run defense.
Hamilton, 29, was selected in the third round of the 2020 draft by Jacksonville after playing collegiately at Ohio State.
He was entering the final year of a four-year, $4.8 million rookie contract when he signed a three-year, $34.5 million extension with the Jaguars.
Hamilton is set to become an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career this offseason.
In 2026, Hamilton appeared in seven games for the Jaguars and recorded eight tackles and half a sack.
