Jaguars have 'most advanced urinals' in pro sports

In the opinion of NFL Network's Scott Hanson, the Jacksonville Jaguars have the "most advanced urinals in all of professional sports."

Hanson, who hosts the popular "NFL RedZone" on Sundays during the season, gave fans an inside look at the bathroom at the Jaguars facility. Fortunately, the room was empty, so he was able to show viewers the fancy, high-tech urinals that Jacksonville has added.

Hanson described how the system works, saying that when people "go," there's a sensor that will measure the person's "hydration level" by lighting up one of three colors. If the light turns green, the urinator is "good," if it's yellow the person "needs to hydrate some more," and if it's red, per Hanson, "you're probably gonna get a notice from the athletic trainers" and "maybe have an IV."

In March, the NFL Players Association's (NFLPA) first NFL Player Team Report Cards were revealed, and while there were no notable words on the Jaguars' bathrooms, the team did make headlines for some issues with rats. The survey said that players reported that for three to four weeks during the season, there was a "rat infestation in the locker room and laundry hampers."

There were 1,300 players who took part in the survey, rating their teams on eight different factors, ranging from the quality of food and team facilities to staff, to travel accommodations and treatment of their families. The Jaguars ranked as the 28th-best (or fifth-worst) team overall.

If the fancy bathrooms are any indication, perhaps Jacksonville will get better grades when the next survey results come out next year.
