Jake Browning's historic opening stretch as an NFL starter continued on Sunday as the league revealed he is the first player ever to pass for 1,000 yards on a 75% completion rate in their opening four starts.
Browning struggled in the first half on Saturday but was lights out across three consecutive scoring drives in the fourth quarter that helped Cincinnati pull off an unlikely comeback over the Vikings 27-24.
Only MVP-favorite Brock Purdy has played better than Browning in terms of EPA+CPOE composite since the start of Week 12.
The NFL has been tracking QB starts since the 1950 season.

Just one QB in that time has 1,000+ passing yards and completed over 75% of his passes in his first four starts.
