Jalen Hurts reached the mountain top finally last season as he was able to avenge the Super Bowl 57 loss with a dominant Super Bowl 59 performance as the Eagles dethroned the back-to-back Super Bowl Champion Chiefs in a complete blowout. Hurts was electric in that game as he accounted for three total touchdowns and led the Eagles in rushing for the game.

Hurts also had a solid fantasy season to complement his great postseason, aside from the Rams game, which was enough to make him one of the top options at the QB position for fantasy once again in 2025. Here’s Jalen’s outlook for the 2025 fantasy season.

Jalen Hurts had an amazing season from a fantasy quarterback perspective in 2024, where he had 2,903 passing yards with 18 passing touchdowns, while adding 630 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. The Eagles quarterback also threw only five interceptions after a career-high in interceptions in 2023, which was a significant improvement from the Former Crimson Tide and Sooners quarterback. Hurts averaged 21.0 fantasy points per game according to FantasyData, and that was equal to his 2023 average.

The eye test shows that Hurts was better by far in 2024 than he was in 2023, but he did experience a slight dip in fantasy production last season, with a decrease in total points from 2023 because the offense shifted to the run game more with Saquon Barkley in the fold especially after the bye week. Just look at his DraftKings numbers. In 2023, he averaged 22.9 fantasy points per game, while in 2024, he averaged 21.9 fantasy points per game on the platform.

ESPN has Hurts as QB4 heading into 2025, as he is projected to have 3704 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, 681 rushing yards, and 14 rushing touchdowns for a total of 363.64 fantasy points. Meanwhile, Fantasy Pros is projecting him to have 3296.3 passing yards, 23.8 touchdowns, nine interceptions, 685.8 rushing yards, and 12.2 rushing touchdowns for a total fantasy projection of 352 fantasy points.

In the spring, he showed he wasn’t satisfied with the Super Bowl win and has also already starting working on some little things with his mechanics according to QB coach John Beck on the Rish Eisen Show earlier in the offseason, meaning his passing should be elevated to a new level in 2025 better than it was in 2024, meaning more targets for AJ Brown and Devonta Smith

Final Thoughts

Hurts is going to be a stud at the quarterback position going forward in 2025, and you should have him as a top-level option in Redraft and DFS throughout the season. This is the year that Jalen showcases his talents even more so as the passing game has been a focus in the offseason by the Eagles, and teams will be glued to Saquon Barkley a lot more, so the passing game will shine more. Total Apex Fantasy and Bets is the place to be for more redraft player outlooks throughout the offseason, especially with Fantasy Drafts around the corner in a month or so.
