The biggest difference from Burrow this season will be shown in his leadership style, as he has made it clear before that he made an effort this offseason to become a more vocal leader to bring a greater sense of urgency into the building. 

While Burrow has always shown the competitiveness, he has done so through poise and the quiet confidence. Now, he is planning on being more direct and to make sure there are no wasted opportunities from the entire Bengals roster.

After a season in which the Bengals finished 6-11, something that is completely unacceptable in the Burrow era, it is clear things needed to change as a whole. The Bengals showed the urgency by making major additions this offseason with Dexter Lawrence, Jonathan Allen and Bryan Cook; now it is time for Burrow to match that urgency and make sure the entire team does as well if they are going to exceed expectations this 2026 season.
