On Thursday night the Cleveland Browns hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers in what promised to be an ugly, low-scoring AFC North affair - just like the days of old.
A wintry mix of snow and heavy winds rolled into the stadium as the two teams took the field for kickoff. However it wasn't the weather or what was happening on the field that stole the headlines in the early going.
Browns quarterback Jameis Winston is known for his pre-game speeches to teammates in an attempt to get them fired up for the game. While they don't always make the most sense, they're some of the most interesting comments fans will see from a quarterback.
Well, he was back at it again on Thursday night during a pregame interview with sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung.
"The horse is preparing for battle, but victory comes from the lord."

Hartung asked Winston what it would take for the Winston to "become a Brown" by beating the Steelers on Thursday night.
"The horse is preparing for battle, but victory comes from the lord so I'm depending on the lord," Winston said, in no way answering her question.
"Is that the message to the team?" Hartung asked.
"Day by day, one play at a time. That's the message," the Browns starting quarterback responded.
Trying to redirect the interview, Hartung asked Winston how he thought the wintry conditions would impact throwing the football.
"I am so happy and grateful the Lord has blessed me to play in some snow," Winston said with a smile on his face. "To be in true football weather in Cleveland, Ohio at Huntington Bank Field today to get him the glory. It's a beautiful day."
Winston is one of a kind.
