Jameis Winston Had Best Reaction To Jaxson Dart's First Win Sunday

The Jaxson Dart era has officially begun and Jameis Winston couldn't be happier for the former Ole Miss star.

Dart got the start over Russell Wilson in Week 4 where he led the winless Giants to a victory over Justin Herbert and the unbeaten Chargers.

The No. 25 pick finished the game 13-of-20 for 111 yards with a passing touchdown and another score on the ground. He also carried the ball 10 times for 54 yards in the 21-18 win, where he really showed off his athleticism and ability to make people miss both in and out of the pocket.

And the performance was good enough for his veteran backup to take notice on social media with a hilariously on-brand post.

Jameis and Jaxson 'eat the W'

Taking to X on Sunday, @jaboowins celebrated Dart's first career victory with a photo of the two of them having fun on the sideline during Week 3 of the preseason.

"W," Jameis simply captioned the post.

Fans celebrate online

"Jameis Winston is a national treasure," a user laughed.

"Why is he not our backup?" a fan asked.

"You are the greatest teammate on the planet! We all know you should be starting in this league," another person exclaimed.

Dart definitely gave his team a boost but Malik Nabers' injury is something that's sure to linger for the rest of the season if its as bad as initially speculated.

According to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the Giants fear the second-year wideout has torn his ACL.
