Jason Kelce Avoids Embarrassment After Challenging Weekend With Travis Kelce

It wasn’t a banner weekend for the Kelce brothers on the golf course, but at least Jason Kelce managed to avoid total disaster.

The former Eagles center finished 86th at the 2025 American Century Championship, a celebrity tournament held annually at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Club in Nevada. While his score didn’t exactly turn heads, Jason successfully steered clear of the event's last-place finisher, Dylan Dreyer, the NBC co-host of "Today," in 90th place.

For a guy like Kelce, who’s used to pancaking defenders on the football field, just not being dead last on the leaderboard counts as a small victory.

Meanwhile, Travis Kelce didn’t fare much better. The Kansas City Chiefs star tight end wrapped up the weekend in a tie for 63rd place alongside NFL legends Davante Adams and Charles Woodson, plus comedian Rob Riggle. Not exactly the elite company he’s used to competing with on Sundays.

Both brothers were part of a packed celebrity field at the 54-hole event, which uses the modified Stableford scoring system, which awards points based on performance per hole.

The tournament, known for its fun traditions like the Long Drive Challenge and the Korbel Hole-In-One Contest, was ultimately won by NHL great Joe Pavelski, who held off John Smoltz for the title.

While Jason and Travis didn’t sniff the top of the leaderboard, their presence added to the star-studded atmosphere and gave fans plenty to cheer about. And for Jason, simply not finishing last was enough to walk away with his head held high.

There’s always next year, or maybe the Kelce brothers should stick to the pre-tournament tailgate.
