Jason Kelce, who spent 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, had a stellar and legendary career on the field—but what often doesn’t get highlighted enough is his remarkable character off of it.

Since retiring, Kelce has become a fixture on ESPN’s NFL coverage and continues to gain popularity through his hit podcast "New Heights," which he co-hosts with his brother, Travis Kelce.

Beyond the spotlight, Kelce’s impact in the community has been just as powerful. He’s actively involved in charitable efforts, including the (Be)Philly Foundation, the Eagles Autism Foundation, and several others.

On Saturday morning, Kelce drew widespread praise for his participation in a heartwarming visit to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Joining comedian Jason Sudeikis, Al Roker, and actress Katherine McNamara, Kelce spent time with young patients—sharing laughs and lifting spirits.

The visit was part of the "Big Slick Celebrity Weekend," an annual event that unites celebrities to raise funds for Children’s Mercy Hospital through a variety of charity-driven activities.

Kelce’s commitment to community impact is nothing new. Back in 2021, following his involvement with the Eagles Autism Foundation, he spoke about his approach to interacting with fans.

“I don’t try to be anything that I’m not, and I think fans—especially in Philadelphia—appreciate that,” Kelce said at the time, describing his connection with the fanbase as “real.”

“I just try to be as much of myself as I can be. I’m not trying to get a big head or anything like that—because I certainly don’t have one—and I really just try to engage with the fans in a genuine way. I think they reciprocate that.”
