NFL legend Jason Kelce shared an emotional message after the Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl LIX victory over his brother Travis Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
The former Eagles star took to X to congratulate his former team while expressing the mixed emotions he felt watching his brother’s tough loss.
“Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles, my former teammates, and friends on being SB LIX Champions!!” Jason Kelce wrote.
The Super Bowl champion also acknowledged the difficulty of watching the game, knowing that no matter the outcome, someone he deeply cared about would be on the losing side.
“That game was odd for me to watch if I’m being completely honest. I knew it was going to be mixed emotions before, during, and after,” he shared.
Despite his loyalty to the Eagles, Jason Kelce made it clear that his support for Travis Kelce never wavers.
“There isn’t a person I love or care about more,” he said about his brother.
He acknowledged the disappointment Travis Kelce and the Chiefs felt but reminded everyone that their achievements remain legendary.
“He has amassed greatness few on this planet could ever dream of, as has his team,” Jason Kelce added.
Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles, my former teammates, and friends on being SB LIX Champions!! There were a lot of emotions last night, and now that I’ve collected my thoughts, I’ll attempt to share them in the longest tweet ever.

That game was odd for me to watch if…
Before the game, Jason Kelce had already anticipated the emotional struggle.
“I’m always going to root for Travis,” he said during an episode from their podcast, “New Heights.”
“I want the Eagles to win, but I also want Travis Kelce to win. I just want to see a good football game,” he added at that time.
However, the Super Bowl LIX was not easy for Travis Kelce, who recorded just four receptions for 39 yards as the Chiefs fell 40-22. As the final whistle blew, he was visibly upset, walking off the field in disappointment.
