Jason Kelce joined the fun of the look-alike contest and shared his candid thoughts on the viral craze.
Over the weekend, a group of Jason Kelce impersonators gathered at Rittenhouse Square Park in Philly to compete and see who resembled the former NFL star the most.
The event showcased dozens of participants dressed in overalls, sweatpants and even green velour tracksuits—the signature attire of the retired Eagles center.
Additionally, most of the contestants sported large builds and bearded facial hair, which are key features that make Kelce so recognizable.
Following the contest, the soon-to-be father of four expressed his honest opinion about the viral look-alike contest.
During his appearance on “Monday Night Countdown,” the seven-time Pro Bowler joked that it was an "easy competition."
Furthermore, he added the key details one would need to consider to win the contest.
“News flash. Any overweight white guy with a beard looks just like me,” he said, adding, “There’s absolutely nothing unique about any of these gentlemen other than they are large people with beards and Caucasian complexions.”
On the other hand, Kelce shared a funny move he made after the contest.
When one of the hosts jokingly asked, "Is that you in the sweater?" referring to one of the participants, the former NFL star revealed that he had changed his X profile photo, saying, "That’s my new profile photo."
As seen on his X profile, Jason Kelce replaced his photo with the competition’s second-place finisher, who was dressed in an Ocean Drive green shirt.
Jason Kelce had worn the exact same outfit at a charity drive for the Eagles Autism Foundation in 2021.
Meanwhile, beyond the look-alike contest, there are plenty of exciting new things for fans to look forward to from Kelce. This includes his upcoming late-night show, “They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce,” which is set to premiere on January 4 on ESPN.
