Former Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten was a longtime staple in the NFL. Witten was drafted in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft and spent all but one year of his NFL career with the Cowboys.
Now, his son, Cooper Witten, is drawing interest. Cooper Witten is a linebacker in the Class of 2027.
Nonetheless, Cooper Witten has received interest from some major college programs, including Baylor, Tennessee, Oklahoma, LSU, Arkansas, SMU, Michigan, Oregon and Texas A&M, among others.
Cooper Witten also added that a few schools are making him "a priority," as he told Chad Simmons of On3.
"Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas A&M and SMU are really making me feel like a priority," Cooper Witten said. He also added he wants a "family-like environment."
Jason Witten played college football at Tennessee.
Cooper Witten plays at Liberty Christian High School in Argyle, Texas, and he is currently the No. 1 linebacker in the class, per On3's industry rankings.
Cooper Witten's most recent offer came from LSU, as he posted on his X page.

He is finishing up his sophomore year in high school, so he has two years remaining before going to college football.
While those schools are making him a priority, Cooper Witten recently had an unofficial visit to SMU in January.
